All the Details
We'll bring a fresh flight of five unique musical instruments each month this summer. Drop in anytime between 10:30 to 11:30am for a taste.
MAY 18: String + Zither Instruments
JUNE 15: Wind + Aerophone Instruments
JULY 20: Percussion Instruments
August 17: Keyboard + Mallet Instruments
We'll follow your child's lead and interest to learn about, explore, and try the instruments on our monthly menu through demonstration, hands-on experience, or sing-along. Our friends at The Little Book are partnering with us to provide book pairings that further bring out a theme, flavor, origin, or element of each instrument. We'll savor a story and let each instrument linger on our sensory palate.

What to Expect:
Each month features a related set of musical instruments. Miss Jenn will be present to guide friends through exploring each instrument's origin, design, timbre, and features as their interest and curiosity leads. There will be a variety of ways for children to experience each instrument in a developmentally-appropriate way: seeing, hearing, touching, playing, and listening to a related story. Adults are encouraged to learn and play with us too. Come and go as you wish and enjoy all that The Little Book has to offer. This is a casual drop-in event.
