We're partnering up with our friends from Muddy Boots Forest Camp for a set of two outdoor adventures inspired by things that grow. Join us this May for a:
Park Playdate
Share 45 minutes of musical play and planting with Pied Piper Studios and Muddy Boots Forest Camp. We'll sing, dance, play instruments, read a story, plant seeds to take home, and more. Together we'll celebrate this time of year and all the delight of growing, gardening, and gathering.
Saturday, May 6th
9:30am -or- 10:30am
Walker Johnston Park
Recommended for ages 6 months - 6 years. Registration is required.
All the Details
Park Playdates meet at Urbandale's Walker Johnston Park in the open grassy area near the fish sculptures. There are restrooms and a shelter nearby. We suggest parking at/near the police station for closest access. If you prefer to park by the skate park, go down the hill and across the bridge to find us.
Registration is family-style and includes all children in your household who will attend. Cost is flexible and up to you, based on your resources. We suggest an amount in the range of $10-17/child. Payment is non-refundable and not based on attendance. All registered families will receive two-week access to a specially-selected Kindermusik music album via Kindermusik International's app for more music making at home and on the go.
We will meet on May 6th in the event of light rain and make use of park shelters if needed. In the event of a severe weather cancellation, a make-up Playdate will be offered on May 27th.
If you'd like to purchase a copy of our featured Playdate storybook to continue enjoying at home, our friends at Reading in Public have you covered. Choose local pick-up via their website and we'll have your book ready to give to you at our event on the 6th.
